At First Steps Learning Academy, we believe that good nutrition is the foundation for happy, healthy learners. That’s why every meal is freshly prepared on-site each day by our passionate Centre Cooks, using seasonal produce and high-quality ingredients.
Our menus are proudly Munch & Move approved and designed in collaboration with a qualified nutritionist. This ensures every meal we serve supports healthy growth, development, and delicious mealtime experiences for children.
Our daily menus are designed to fuel growing bodies and curious minds with balanced, wholesome meals that children love. With a focus on flavour, variety, and nutrition, we introduce little ones to a wide range of foods and textures to encourage positive lifelong eating habits.
We cater for all dietary requirements, with meals that are nut and egg free, and offer vegetarian and culturally inclusive options. Our rotating menus follow the Australian Dietary Guidelines and are packed with goodness from the five core food groups.

At First Steps Learning Academy, we believe that strong partnerships with families create the foundation for meaningful learning experiences. That’s why we use OWNA – a secure, all-in-one parent communication app – to keep you informed and involved every step of the way.
With OWNA, families receive real-time updates about their child’s day, including meals, sleep, nappy changes, and more. Educators can share photos, learning stories, and announcements, while parents can react, comment, and privately message staff – creating a truly collaborative environment.
